Currently, our institution is in a transitional phase from our previous curriculum, which underwent review and revision in 2019, to the Curriculum 2023 (K23). As part of this transition, both the previous curriculum and K23 are being implemented simultaneously to ensure a smooth shift for our students and faculty.

Within this transitional period, the MBKM program, or “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (Freedom to Learn),” is being integrated into the K23 curriculum framework and is also supported by UNHAS regulations. This integration aims to provide students with enhanced learning opportunities beyond the traditional classroom setting.

The K23 curriculum encourages students to undertake 34 ECTs outside of the regular curriculum, including internships across various institutions. These internships facilitate the practical application of classroom knowledge in real-world contexts. Additionally, the MBKM program encompasses several other components such as certified internships, independent studies, campus teaching, Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA), student exchange programs, community development projects (KKN Tematik), humanitarian projects, and research. Our students and staff actively participate in these components.

Through the integration of K23 Curriculum and MBKM, our students benefit from practical field experiences converted into credits, exploration of knowledge and skills for more than one semester, networking opportunities beyond their program or home campus, and direct learning experiences from reputable partners. We believe that this integration not only enriches our students’ academic journey but also prepares them for success in their future endeavors.
