Graduates of Communication Department automatically become member of IKA UNHAS (Alumni Association Universitas Hasanuddin) headed by Yusuf Kalla, Vice President of Indonesia as well as member of IKA FISIP UNHAS (Alumni Association, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences). Headed by A. Fahsar Padjalangi, Regent of Bone, South Sulawesi, IKA FISIP unhas was established in 2016. On April 8, 2017, Inauguration of the Board of IKA KOMUNIKASI UNHAS was conducted and attended by Head of IKA FISIP UNHAS, the 3 rd Vice Dean of UNHAS, 3 rd Vice Dean of FISIP UNHAS, the Head Department of Communication, member of IKA KOMUNIKASI UNHAS, as well as students of Communication Department. Each Alumni Association has regularly met to discuss and formulated programs that can deliver contribution to the students of Universitas Hasanuddin, FISIP Unhas, and Communication Department, to the alumni and almamater.
